Tonnes of situtations where I've folded them post-flop. There have not been many games where I've folded AA pre-flop. Most *normal* games will see people tighten up around the bubble, along with the emergence of one or more opportunistic blind stealers who show aggression when opening any pot. Many games will result in a sea of snap-folds, reagardless of hole cards when around the bubble. Some games have everyone limping in to a family pot. But when we're bubbling, I'd rather just take the blinds and have everyone fold than get put into a difficult spot against multiple opponents.īut whether to min-raise, raise some fraction of the port, or shove, depends on my opponents tendencies. So part of your (my) overall strategy, needs to disguise my AA's so they appear more similar to any other Pre Flop Raise in my range. Whenever I catch AA, I always seem to be getting cracked or getting folds all 'round. We get beaten by two pairs, set/trips, straights, flushes, boats, quads and SF's. So obviously, AA is the best hand we can have pre-flop. The only thing we know in this scenario is that it's bubble-time and you've got AA. It depends on the type of game you're playing. Like everything else, it still depends on stack sizes, position, action before you and how many left to act after you. AA is so lovely to see revealed in your hole cards.īut there is simply no single correct way to play them.
